 Purpose - what do we do to help,

The salvation army helps in many ways,

For a start, we donate food and old clothes that you or someone else in the community doesn't want, to people in need. Anything will do as long as it is in good condition, meaning its not falling apart, and that it seems in good use. Something that you think they would need. You can simply donate these things by giving them into school or organisations. When I mean school, I mean that usually schools will hold events and would much appreciate it if you drop a piece of clothing into the Clothing box, then this would be distributed into our factory's were were would give them out to the people in need.

We don't just give out old clothes, you can donate online, at our websites. The money will go to the community and help family's that need money for their bills, food and to put a roof over there head. By donating you would give a family a chance at a healthy life. But you don't just have to donate online, you can also donate at events, which will come up at local places such as schools, fairs etc. Simple donations like these could change family's lives.
